Windows 7 x64, correct ? There is an installation issue with KB3033929
during the final phase of the updating process, after the reboot.

The return code is an ACCESS DENIED message. The only way you can
identify where the code stems from is to check the CBS.log, located in
Windows\Logs\CBS.
The log will be very large and may take some time to load if you choose
to peruse it.

I'm waiting for MS to rerelease the update as I no longer have the
patience to deal with deciphering 200 MB MS log files.

Thank you for the information. Microsoft told me to reinstall Windows.

Inge,

That's MS' typical response ... just reinstall Windows. The only known
cause for the installation of KB3033929 on Win 7 x64 systems is having
an alternate boot loader present, such as Linux.
I wouldn't be so fast to reinstall Windows expecting that to solve an
installation issue with a faulty update.
Suggest you just hide it for now. There are 2 updates that address the
same vulnerability ... KB3035131 and KB3033929.
Make sure that KB3035131 is installed and the system will be
sufficiently protected.
